Here are some answers to questions we often receive.

What is Kanban?

Kanban is a simple way to see different lists visually all in one place. It was originally developed by Toyota in Japan to improve manufacturing efficiency. In Japanese, Kanban roughly translates into “card you can see” and is used by companies to manage workflows. We have taken this concept and created Kanbana so you can easily capture, visualize, and prioritize all of your lists in one place.

Is Kanbana easy to use?

We think so! We have purposefully designed Kanbana so it can be used by anyone who wants to get more organized. We have also made the onboarding process intuitive and created tutorials and other videos to help you. You can always see our Help Center for more information.

Can I customize Kanbana to how I think?

Yes! Task Cards, Columns and Boards can be created, edited, renamed, deleted, moved and reordered however you like. Also you can change the colors of each of the Task Cards.

Is a free trial available?

Kanbana Basic is free to use across devices - on web, Windows, iOS and Android. Kanbana Basic allows users to create and manage up to 20 task cards with a single board. You can upgrade to Kanbana Premium if you want to use more than 20 task cards or create multiple task boards. Click on Pricing to learn more. Create multiple boards to separate your work life from your personal life or for different projects. When you sign up for Kanbana Premium, there is a 7 day free trial.

If I change something on one device, does it sync with other devices?

Yes! If you make changes on one device those changes will appear on other devices you are signed into. Once you create an account login, your data is stored safely in the cloud with us.
